PS3 Flat Ribbon cables Ps3 slim blu-ray drive

Seems like i broke the 8 pin Flat ribbon cable when i had to
remove the drive. Really need to find a new cable.
Might be some other faulty cable to. Drive takes the disc, noisy
click, then nothing. Worked fine before i removed all cables.
Can someone point me in the right direction where to find
replacement cables?

just google ffc/fpc flat cable with pitch of 1,0 or 0,5 and the number of connectors. for example, the BD from a FAT NOR PS3 has 24 connectors and a pitch of 0,5

from the picture, the orange one has for example 1,0 pitch and 4 connectors and the one right next to it as well with 14 connectors. the big one in the middle and the small one are 0,5

oops, just forgot to mention, you also have a side definition for them, A and B, where on A the connectors are on same side and on B version the connectors are on opposite side. so google for example "ffc/fpc B 1,0 14pin"
 
Using an extender on the orange 4 pin can a white 4 pin cable be connected and still work as it should?
This is to make the orange cable longer without soldering.
