PS2 Gsm FMV audio synch issues

MOJOJO

Kinda of new to using opl and I am having trouble with FMVs on Silent hill 2 directors cut. I have all NTSC devices and when I use the gsm feature the game launches and works fine up until a cut scene. The cut scene is out of sync with the audio and seems to play faster than the audio does. I have tried some of the modes and even changed the DMA modes, but still none of them seems to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

That's normal when converting from 50Hz to 60Hz using GSM.
No way to fix it unless you recode the game.
If you want to play SH2DC in NTSC, then go play SH2 Saigo no Uta, it has all the languages (hidden, but they are there)

Oh okay thanks for the info I never knew there was a different version of the game. What makes this version playable compared to the pal version is it because it supports both 50 and 60Hz?

What exactly makes it playable is something I don't know... I just know it is the one I have and the one I played with no issues.
