The question is how did You connect it? If by eSATA, then normally 5400 rpm drives should be read with ~100MB/s, but this also depends of course on HDD type and wearing. Shouldn't drop below 50MB/s in worst cases. But if USB 2.0, sooner world will end than You make such dump, so this wouldn't be strange. And there is another factor, 5400 HDDs have average write speed not faster 60MB/s. And if both: external USB and internal SATA controller going through this USB controller, speed is even lower. Maybe that's is Your case.

2TB is totally to much. And thanks for the will anyway! The same goes to @baldjared. I know it is not a trivial task, especially that this demanding from user some of his time and rather not usage environment for gaming. But at least is worth a try to ask if anyone could do this. If I would have a normal job, I could just go to a shop and buy Slim and problem solved. But oh well... ^^
 
we are not talking about few GB, we are talking about few hundred GB, you are delusional believing someone would give you a full dump and give away their EAP key for free.

Do you still need this? If so, I could do it, but with a 500GB drive. You would need to tell me where to upload the files though, because I don't know if something like 1fichier is good for you for downloading multiple parts.
 
@Maeli Yes, please. I can download from anywhere. Thank You for the offer! If You need help with making already sliced image and/or compression let me know (in case of fully encrypted HDD, compression is useless).

It is important to turn on the console at least once because then she will encrypt empty space on some partitions.

Do you want me to not use any compression at all? I ask because "HDD Raw Copy Tool" uses some compression when creating the image file by default (and I can't change it), and then I started creating the rar file with default settings. If that is a problem for you, let me know, and I'll use linux (honestly idk if "dd" command compresses the image file). By the way, I'm on 9.00.
 
No compression as this will make process a lot longer and also zero gain in space. Disk is almost whole encrypted. HDD Raw Copy allows You to choose not compressing or compressing during image creation. Also compressing again with WinRAR have also no sense, so do not use default settings, set no compression and parts by eg 20G.

If You prefer Windows, You can use HDD Raw Copy Tool or DMDE (the second one allows You to choose also splitting on the fly, so WinRAR can be omitted). If You using Linux then dd will be the best but it is not easy to use tool and mistake in devices can be disastrous. ^^

If You already did it, well ok, I can deal with that, no problem. But if You still didn't start image creation then I recommend DMDE, like on screen below:

Ok that makes sense, the compressed process in rar was taking a ridiculous amount of time. I found the option to save as .img instead of .imgc within HDD Raw but due to the speed limit and the lack of split in parts feature I'm going to use what you recommended.

When I finish uploading the files I'll post again. Thanks for the clear explanation, first time doing this.

They wrote this because some ppl are using usb2 hdd and it's slow, some cheap hdd are slower than 5MB/s... I have even a 'fake' usb3 flash diskk drive and it's slower than 5MB/s...
Some other use "real usb3 sdd to internal hdd" can so much more faster like mine +60MB/s, and I saw faster on internet reviews.
internal to internal I have around 600MB/s ...


So to avoid ppl with cheap/bad device whining about it, they wrote 30h instead of 30mins...
 
Once again I wanted to thank @Maeli for image and key donation. It has took me almost year... but hey, finally I was able to verify some things and fix some issues. And of course promise was promise, I couldn't wasted all Your time which You've spend on this. Thank You friend.

So it looks like I wasn't disillusioned because I've got even 500GB disk image. :D

I'm still be happy for dump from some IV model, or any dump but with SAMU HDD Key (obtainable currently only on fw 6.72 - 7.55) because this is the last part of the puzzle. Without it, PS4 HDD Backuper script does not have much sense (I exclude it in 2023-12-13 version of PS4 HDD Decryption Helper). However, SAMU key grants me to access to SEN passwords ad partial IDPS etc. So this is serious privacy violation which can be used for evil in evil hands. ;]

If not a dump, I will happy with QA tests too.
