i have fat ps3 model with REBUG 4.82.Cobra7.55, about a month ago i sendend my ps3 for repair because of ylod, then the console was repaired, everything was working fine... then one day the ps3 get stuck when trying to exit a game, i forced it to turn off, when i turn it on ps3 does nothing, no screen, no sync in controllers, can't enter in recovery mode, any help to revive the ps3?

It's likely to be a BGA issue on the RSX side of the motherboard. So a re-ball is the answer, saying that you may also have an issue with the RSX itself, so a frankenstian would be the best option.

It is costly to get this mod done. This is because It's extremely specialised and requires BGA rework skills that simply aren't easy to execute.

To be sure this is the issue, you would need to get a Syscon dump from the motherboard. Fortunately, this can be done with the console in "standby mode", however you will need to solder some wires to the MB and use an adapter to connect your PS3 motherboard to your laptop or computer. If you're happy to do this, then you can find the relevant tutorials on this site. Just search "Syscon," and you should find it.

If none of the above is an option for you, then you may get some money for the console as a spares or repair project for someone, if its a rare backwards compatible version, then these can fetch between 30-50 pounds, if its not then between 10-20.

And finally, if all that is not for you and you want to try and get some extra life out of your console, then as a last resort you could try the mod in the YouTube video below. (Possibility of damage to your console)

Best of luck [emoji106]

Hello and thanks for the info, i took the ps3 to another technician to see if there's any problems or like you said a BGA issue, but he says, theres no problems with the board and its a semi brick that its related to software, didn't install nothing on the ps3. Is it possible to fix a semi brick? if it is, where i can find a tutorial?
