HELP : "No applicable update data was found" when trying to install HFW 4.85.1 on OFW 4.85

"No applicable update data was found" when trying to install HFW 4.85.1 on OFW 4.85
my usb flash drive is formatted to fat32
hfw 4.85.1 downloaded and put in PS3/UPDATE folder
hfw 4.85.1 pup file was renamed PS3UPDAT.PUP
usb was inserted in the right-most usb port on ps3
i tried installing through both xmb and recovery mode , no luck.
i am on 4.85 ofw
what am i doing wrong?
please help i am not getting anywhere

your file may be corrupt so
redownload ps3 hfw 4.85.1 from mega

resolved now
i just had to rename "HFW_4.85.1_PS3UPDAT" to "PS3UPDAT" NOT "PS3UPDAT.PUP"

@PS3dude0 Obviously file name must be "PS3UPDAT.PUP". You have just turned on option in Windows to hide file extensions, so when You trying name it properly, You ending with "PS3UPDAT.PUP.PUP". PS3/PS4/PSP/PSTV will not find "double extended file". FYI

make sure usb is formatted to fat32 with MBR (not gpt)
