HELP RUBRG not their and on ofw when i did not install ofw

Hi so last night i put in my ethernet wire and then i went to check for multi man update then i left the wire in. The next day i am 4.87 but i never instaled it.
I have no idea why its back to ofw.
The update is set off.

So then i went to https://**ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new) then bg toolset then home then i get this error

then when i click on yes the page gets stuck see pic

and the ps3 beeps 2 times on this page.

I was on rebug but i can't recall what one it was 4 years ago that I did this.

Can some help me get back on rebug or cfw even if i have to downgrade?

Also, i forgot to ask if i downgrade will all my games that are on hard drive be gone?

try to launch multiman. if it starts, you still have cfw. if it gives error, then ofw was installed somehow.

does anybody else use the ps3 that may have updated (even accidently)?

You don't need to downgrade, just use BG Toolset to patch it for CFW. Make sure the date is set correctly on your PS3. Installing CFW will not affect anything on your HDD. So your games will be fine.

i will post a video and show that everything i did was the same as the video and its not working i have very first ps3 phat.

Thousands of people have done this, double check everything, you must be making a mistake somewhere.

im bit confushed in which one to get.

rex. but first you have to install a 4.87 cfw (evilnat or ferrox). after that enable qa flag. then you can install 4.84 rex. (you need qa flag to downgrade).
 
Whats the best evilnat or ferrox as im new to this. Is their no cfw for 4.87 that works for mulitman. I just need to get my ps3 up and running. I need an easy cfw for me as something easy to work with for less experience. Any links to cfw.
 
Pretty much all CFW will run multiman. Evilnat 4.87 should be fine for everything you will need. There is not much difference between it and Ferrox 4.87.
 
Hi how do i enable qa flag im new to this i donty undertand were this is. I have Ferrox 4.87 instaled but mulitman latest one is not so good as chopy in muliman i want to go and install rebug as on rebug muliman was fine and smouth working.
 
Once you have jailbroken your system and installed CFW you NEVER need to use ps3xploit to patch your system again unless you install OFW or HFW by mistake.

Once you have jailbroken your system with ps3xploit you should NEVER install OFW or HFW again, there is no reason too and it will cause you to lose your jailbreak.

You should do some research, read some threads on the forum, watch some videos about jailbreaking etc as you are going to mess something up.
 
Just install the lower version CFW via USB. Once you have QA flagged you do not need to do anything special to downgrade.
 
I am REBUG_4.84.2_REX but multiMAN is choppy any idea why? I am the latest multiMAN may i ask what's the best multiMAN for REBUG_4.84.2_REX like which version will work without being choppy.
 
I'd suggest you to try a different manager, for example (my personal preference): IRISMAN or webman Mod.

Unless you need to do something very specific with Multiman, other managers can provide the same features to mount, create, and load backups.

btw, I've installed and used the "Unofficial" multiMAN v04.84 HEN with Rebug 4.84 Rex with no issues.
