help to understand my ps3 thermal paste condition

so, i ran some more test with my ps3 slim, is a 25xx, i did a case modding creating a hole of 70mm on the top plate over the fan and put a net and changed the thermal paste over the ihs with some artic mx4
my webman setting is 65 auto with minimum 30 and max 80%

so, without the hole i have 59 on cell and 65 on rsx with 65% fan

but with the hole i have 55 on cell and 63 on rsx with 36% fan....

is this normal? do i need to do something else?

from what i noticed when i teared it down and studied a bit the airflow and from what i notice the air will still be sucked trough the motherboard and i have an 512gb ssd

I think the hole difference is not so important, but it's ok you won few degrees and less loud fan, it's pretty cool! I should do the hole thing to avoid the "too noisy" fan...
adn do you have the temp before the change of thermal paste?

Yes, before thermal paste change I was at like 70 on the cell and 78 on the RSX at 76% fan speed
