PS3 How to get old gameboot + console boot for 4.82?

I see the problem rename the file like this

PS3~dev_flash~vsh.zip

for some reason everytime the file got downloaded it renamed itself PS3_dev_blind_vsh.zip
 
Maybe mediafire is having a hernia.

Sorry to be a bother, but my next dilemma is that I want to remove the ferrox cobra bootlogo and restore it with sony computer entertainment and get the pre 3.00 audio back, is that possible? I can try research it myself. I'm sorry for all the trouble I've caused you guys

@pinky weren't we able to just extract the old coldboot and audio files from older FW and use them on newer?
 
yes, coldboots should be universal.

here's 2.76. I didn't extract the coldboot, but I believe the audio is right (probably the coldboot too). rename this file if this doesn't install for some reason:

you need to start using 7zip my man :-p
 
I tried renaming it and testing things but it doesn't work, still just extracts the zip file. Where to I place the coldboot files manually?
 
Got it to work, thanks - do you perhaps have the complete original coldboot logo? The one that just says "sony computer entertainment"?

Additionally, due to my cfw, the coldboot screen is ALWAYS red which really pisses me off. Can I change this to match the background colour?

I'd need to know which firmware that was on. that was before I was in the scene, so I'm unfamiliar with that coldboot. that one I uploaded is from 2.76.

I'm not sure what you mean by always red. do you have a picture?
