PS3 I need help with PSP game patches on PS3

For PSP you need to add the custom configs in *encrypted* MINIS2.EDAT or MINIS.EDAT.

You can use my PSP2PS3 tool to create the PKG to play PSP games directly from XMB. The tool allows create encrypted MINIS.EDAT

Alternatively you can mount the UMD ISO stored in /PSPISO and add the config like filename.iso.MINIS.EDAT (or MINIS2.EDAT)

If you're on CFW you can install this custom psp_emulator.self in /dev_flash/pspemu to test games with non-encrypted configs

Would be nice if we can create a database to PSP configs just like the PS2 and the new PS1 one

When I look at the configs site its just text so how do I turn it into the config file and where would I put the config file in the first layer of the PSP ISO FIles?

The PSP2PS3 tool already includes a database.

Use PSP2PS3 tool to create the encrypted config. Choose one of the existing configs or customize your own in the text editor.

The config file MINIS2.EDAT goes in USRDIR of the PSP package.

One question whenenver I use this method the games come out lower resolution then when I just don't turn them into a PKG and just use the iso any idea why??? Maybe its a line I have to add AND when im told to enter a patch should I also include the standard remaster settings with it?
