PS3 Info Power Supply PS3 Fat

Hi, I got a PS3 Fat CECHA00 Jap. It says 100V on the back of the console, but many 3D forums, including here, say they're all multi-voltage (https://www.psdevwiki.com/ps3/Power_Supply). Has anyone tried one and know if this is the case? Thanks everyone for the info.

Only exceptions are CECHC/E and some CECHG models, for Europe region I think. In those cases the units will not start, but no damage will happen as input voltage and current is below required.
