installin HEN on a PS3 super slim whit a defective BD drive

hello I am trying to install HEN on a ps3 super slim but the BD unit spin the disk but doesnt read then I have yet to install HFW will it error out because of the non working BD unit? or it will install whydouht problems? I want to make sure because last time I got a ps3 wht this kind of problem the BD unit prevented me from installing the HFW

I finished moding this console as long the logic board of the BD drive work it will install HFW fine buit wait for a more experience user for answer before you try anything

With Super Slims the BD logic board is on the MB. It will accept and install the HFW even if the BD drive does not work, it will even do this if your BT is busted as well.

Yeah HEN only capable systems work fine as all of the 2500 and up models have the logic board interested into the main board so no issues like if installing on a CFW system.

hello I got another ps3 but this one is a slim 2501A whit a minfirm of 3.60 but this particular case it lack a drive does it has the integrated logic board? this particular case lacks the BD drive but from what everybody answer soo thanks for all the help it should work whit installing HFW and hen right?

Yeah you don't need a drive in those systems.
