PS3HEN [IRISman] Black screen & yellow light when trying to boot PSX games.

I have a 2012 slim with which I can enable HEN without issue.

I can load PS3 and PS2 games in IRISman just fine, but when I try to boot a PS1 game, I get a black screen and a blinking yellow light next to the usb ports, so I'm forced to reboot the console.

Out of curiosity I tried changing the PS2/PS upscaler settings in the PS3's Game Settings between off and normal, and I had the same result.
I have tried with multiple different PS1 games to no avail.

Anyone else have a similar experience?
 
IRISMAN uses by default a direct boot method to launch PSX games stored in HDD and USB.
This method is compatible only with CFW, not HEN.

Try holding down the SELECT button before launch a PSX game. IRISMAN should mount the game using Cobra, so you will need to launch the game manually from the disc icon on XMB.

Tried this, game did not appear in XMB. Do I need to install Cobra or something?
 
Sorry for the bump but is this why when I scan for ps1 games with webmod on ntfs drive, they dont load under wedman games in the XMB? i get a blinking yellow/green light, i have to delete the ps1 games or change the folder 'PSXISO' to something else on the drive

i am sure that i have used BIN/CUE format and mounted with webman mod on HEN. after mounting, it should look like a disc was put in the drive and it shows up on XMB.
