PS3 Issue with bgtoolset and PHAT model

basically i have model CECHK02 phat ps3 (datecode 8C), i load onto toolset, use mrmarios cfw tutorial (ive done cfw install before without this problem on slim) and patch the memory, then i restart the console, however when i restart the console after the memory has been patched, i try to install 4.92 evilnat and it says the update is corrupt, ive tried 3 different usbs, the same update file worked for my cfw slim aswell, but even when i try PEX, CEX, DEX, i cant install any of them, it just says the update is corrupt. even the md5 is correct, ive tried reinstalling OFW twice before doing it, but i still have the same issue

Are you applying the patch or just downloading it and loading it?

When you load bgtoolset, it will show if you have cfw syscalls or not, in top right corner.

That means you didn't apply patch. It should say CFW

Just post a pic or patch again using https and make sure to apply after downloaded and verified.
