PS3 Multiman usb

multiman's ntfs support is limited. it does not support exfat at all. it has not had a major update in a long time and the code is not public.

Hmm interesting ive seen yt videos saying it supports exFat but even then ntfs doesnt work me. I use prep iso/prep ntfs and it still does not read the usb. (hen 3.2.2 4.90 hfw) Do you know if its just me or is there a fix?(i believe im on the newest multiman version)

I recommend installing webMAN MOD since it automatically detects your usb in both FAT32 and NTFS without having to run prepNTFS at all (you can use prepISO for exFAT). Also, make sure your drive is MBR, not GPT. Keep in mind that the games require to be in .ISO format if you use any of those two.

Webman mod is broken right now for hen users, As you kow because you replied to me on another forum about that.

I'm not having any apparent problems using webMAN MOD on hen 3.3.0. Ofc, apart from an occasional black screen here and there when launching some game but that is to be expected and not a frequent occurrence

The occasional black screen could occur if the dynamic fan controller is enabled in webMAN MOD's /setup.ps3

These black screens happen occasionally when a game with high demand of CPU/GPU is launched. That cause that the fan controller increase the fan speed while the game is still loading and the hypervisor enters in panic mode.

To prevent these crashes set the dynamic fan controller to manual mode or disable it selecting SYSCON mode.
 
yea, I'm getting way less black screens since I set my fan speed to manual, but I live in a very hot country so I suspect it's my thermal paste already asking for help :bitsbubba:
