Hi. I have a PS3 (2501a) with a cfw 4.81 rebug and when I try to update my games through Multiman I got a message that says ''Cannot find update information for this tittle!'' I also tried with irisman but it doesn't works neither :(. I was thinking that maybe it would be a good idea to delete everything and update my cfw, maybe that would work, I don't know. What do you guys think? is there anyway I can fix this problem?. oh and also, I only want to use the ps3 to play ps1,ps2 and ps3 games offline, I don't care to much about online multiplayer.
Thanks in advance for the help :)
cheers.

All older firmware can update games, there is no limitation there. So updating firmware is unlikely to help.

Like Sam said, just mount the game, then update it from the XMB when launching the game, you can also press triangle on the mounted game from the XMB, and check for updates.

Well, I tried to do that but when I press triangle after mount the game on xmb nothing happens. By the way, to run the games I first open webman and then I load them through multiman. Also, I have all my games on internal hdd, they are on files not ISOs, I don't know if that can be part of the problem :indecisiveness:

You can just mount them with webMAN MOD and then launch them directly from the XMB. Pressing :but tri: after mounting with wMM will let you search for game updates. You don't need multiMAN for updates :)

Just use one or the other to mount the game, you do not need two backup managers really. Folder rips vs ISOs should not make any difference to the updating process.

ISOs are recommended but only for other reasons, ISOs can run from NTFS drives, faster to copy/load as they are only one file so less overhead, better compatibility as a small % of games will not run as folder rips.
