Hi guys, I'm new here. I bought a PS3 with a non-working Blu-ray drive, a CECHKO4 model, because I wanted to try to fix it. So I bought another PS3, model CECHL04, with YLOD (non-backward compatible) to use its Blu-ray drive. replaced it using the logic board from the PS3 with the non-working drive, but despite this, the PS3 still won't read discs. Now I'm wondering if it's a problem with the logic board of the PS3 that's working, or if I'm just unlucky and the PS3 I bought with YLOD also has a non-working drive. Yet the disc spins inside the console and doesn't stop and start like it usually does when it has a faulty lens. Can you help me?
