I'm new to this forum and I've recently started getting back into classic PlayStation 2 games. I've been trying to understand how people are running PS2 games smoothly on modern PCs and what tools are commonly used today.
I've seen different methods mentioned like emulators, BIOS setups, and various compatibility fixes, but it gets a bit confusing for beginners.
I mainly want to learn the safest and most reliable way to get started without breaking anything or downloading the wrong files. Also, I'm curious what setups most people here are currently using for PS2 emulation and preservation.
If anyone has a simple guide or personal tips, I would really appreciate your help.
