Good day to everyone.
My neighborhood has been hit by lightning and messed up some electronics here. My PS3 (CECH-3004A) was working perfectly until then. Now the current scenario is as follows regarding HDMI
Tested in:
PC Monitor 29" LG
TV 32" Samsung
TV 40" Samsung
TV > 40" Samsung
(4 HDMI cables have been tested and they are good because PS5 works just fine in all devices with any of those cables and so was PS3)
(PS3 is not jailbroken nor modded, at least not by me; I bought it used and refurbished from Game Stop)
(576p, 720p):
Works properly in any device.
1080i:
40": Works almost flawlessly. Blinks few times. Sometimes hours without blinking.
29": playable but blinks more often the 40".
> 40": had signal for less then a minute
32": no signal
1080p:
Has signal only on 29" and blinks perhaps 3x/minute or so when not playing. Not tested when playing but what intrigues me is the fact that it displays
Does anyone know where the PCB near HDMI should I begin my investigation? That's a very curious scenario.
Thanks in advance.
