Yes.But at least you do agree about Trump's plans of Budget cuts on CDC & HHS. Do you?

Lets take that a step further, So if a proposing a budget cut that gets rejected is attempted murder, what about previous budget cuts that were approved? Actual murder then I guess if you follow that logic. If you try to kill someone but you are stopped by police, that doesn't absolve you of the crime.
luckily it seems it never happened the way you say.
Well I dont care either, but your whole point has been that trump did cut the budgets and this is bad for coronavirus.but i don't care who is responsible for Budget cuts of critical programs
That's cool. My thinking would be that the media would have 10 people talking about the ACTUAL cuts if they happened, they would not need to put out deceptively worded stories about proposals. But you never know. Maybe they missed something.I am looking into previous years. Not just 2020.
The CDC's program focuses on infectious diseases ranging from foodborne illnesses to anthrax and Ebola. It manages laboratory, epidemiologic, analytic and prevention programs, and collaborates with state and local health departments, other federal government agencies, industry and foreign ministries of health.
In 2018, Trump tried to cut $65 million from this budget – a 10% reduction. In 2019, he sought a 19% reduction. For 2020, he proposed to cut federal spending on emerging infectious and zoonotic diseases by 20%. This would mean spending $100 million less in 2020 to study how such diseases infect humans than the U.S. did just two years ago.
Congress reinstated most of this funding, with bipartisan support. But the overall level of appropriations for relevant CDC programs is still 10% below what the U.S. spent in 2016, adjusting for inflation.
Well the important link is a dead, so not sure how you can take much from that.

Global Health
By ensuring that countries have the capacity to prevent, detect, and respond to threats within their borders, CDC's Center for Global Health helps prevent regional and global health crises that affect health, security, and economic stability abroad and at home. These activities provide a global safety net by monitoring for disease outbreaks 24/7 around the world. CDC uses scientific data to track diseases and other health threats and target services to those who need them most across a variety of programs, including global immunization, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, parasitic diseases and malaria, and disease detection and response, as well as health systems and laboratories.
The FY 2018 Budget includes $350 million for global health activities, a decrease of $76 million below the spending level allowed by the FY 2017 Continuing Resolution.
Ok, I will give you that, looks like it was cut in 2018 but increased in 2019 and 2020.Link is here. yes, its 10% reduction.

Hard to know with these long term 8 year plans in action. How many departments were cut as part of those.
How many departments were cut as part of those.
I am seeing all the fact checking sites saying he did not reduce it and it actually increased. But then they post data like this as proof that I don't understand: https://www.cdc.gov/budget/documents/fy2019/fy-2019-detail-table.pdf
One thing for sure. The Pandemic response team was disbanded in 2018 by Trump as they though it was unnecessary.

Among the health authorities overseeing the work are Dr. Anne Schuchat, CDC's principal deputy director and a veteran of previous outbreaks, and Dr. Anthony Fauci, NIH's infectious disease chief who has advised six presidents.
"The CDC's response has been excellent, as it has been in the past," said John Auerbach, president of the nonpartisan Trust for America's Health, which works with government at all levels to improve the nation's response to high-risk health crises. Some Democrats have charged that Trump decimated the nation's public health leadership, but Auerbach said CDC's top scientific ranks have remained stable during the past three years.
Well its proof of fake news that there are so many contradicting stories.
This one says the same people are in charge as always.
