PS3 No sound on any CFW

So I have this issue where whenever I open multiman or try to play games off it, there is no sound. I have sound on xmb, but once I load something the sound is gone. I've tried multiple HDMI cables and nothing will work. I've also tried messing with the sound settings in XMB. Any advice?

I don't think so, do I do that on my ps3? If so, how?

Settings > sound settings > audio output > HDMI > manual > disable everything that can be disabled

Wow, It worked. I didn't set it to stereo cause I didn't see that option, but I tried something called "AAC" and it works!! Thanks a bunch dude.
