NTSC PS3 launching PAL PS2 games with Microphones

I have a jailbroken NTSC PS3 with mmCM running, we basically just use this for SingStar, all the various PS2 and PS3 versions.

I can launch any PS3 version (either via mmCM ISO or actual disk) and swap disk within the game to most PS2 versions with no issues, except I have a few PAL PS2 versions that none of the PS3 games want to detect.

If i transfer the PAL PS2 versions to ISO with mmCM and launch them, they run, but then the games wont detect the microphones.

Im not sure what to do, short of eBay'ing a PAL PS2....

Any ideas ? Will any of the emulators pass through the USB microphones ?
 
Only the backwards compatible consoles support USB devices in ps2 mode. I'm not sure but maybe the ps2 classics bought from the store do support USB devices too? Wait for confirmation!
