Someone on 4.82 reported the proxy method to be working successfully.
According to him, he connected to PSN, activated the console & managed to get the act.dat file.
 
I already had Han on my super slim.. but then i updated to 4.83.. i noticed that C00 games still working, but other games no.
Update to 4.83 means losing the han forever??? :'(

You can see the info that we have on 4.83 here under the Ps3Xploit Status tab. Pretty much it's being looked into but no guarantee that we're going to see a han 4.83.
 
In waitting for a exploit 4.83 It is possible to extract a game psn and to convert it with CFWtoOFW to play with?if yes just to know if he has an update is that?

I cannot tell you because I have never tried such a conversion. You can try & report.

But even if you succeeded in converting a PSN pkg into a pkg with a lic.dat like cfw2ofw outputs so it doesn't need HAN, how would you install it?
1. You don't have Package Manager anymore after updating.
2. You don't have the Debug pkg Enabler to allow the installation.
3. You don't have any tool to copy/replace files in the installation directories of installed games.

The only thing you can use is official game backups to restore. If you know someone with a HAN console on 4.82 (or on CFW), you could install your own CFW2OFW games & create an official backup on the usb to restore them on your console.

I'm still on 4.82 the problem is that since the update psn games no longer work so I told myself why not decompiler to convert it with CFWtoOFW.....I try but the converter CFWtoOFW only one file out of 2....yet it is written successful conversion put 2 folder......

If you're really still on 4.82 then nothing has changed and the games should still work as they were before. What happens when you try to start the game?

Some games works, but you will have to get the proper files, like PARAM.SFO, EBOOT.BIN e etc from disc version. Other games also has some edat crypted files, and it's a pain in "that place" to decrypt it.

If you have not updated & remained on 4.82, all HAN Tools should still be working. No changes at all.
The only difference is that you cannot play online anymore unless you use the local proxy trick.

the converted games runs without problems but not my psn game it is written that you have to activate the system

Hey so I'm trying to follow this guide while still on 4.82 but the HAN install keeps failing. Is it because I'm not able to connect to PSN or am I just missing something? I'm using a FAT32 formatted thumb drive on a super slim ps3 (4xxB or similar). The reference page did confirm that my ps3 is capable of handling everything so why am I unable to install HAN? I've tried over 10 times, each time entirely restarting my ps3 just to be safe. Any help would be fantastic since I'm pretty new to this whole scene-- for PS3's at least.

You have to activate your account on the ps3. You can do it under "management account" on XMB. Take care to don't update (you can use the proxy method to avoid update).

You also have to activate your "throw away" account. To avoid update, use "the proxy" method.

Make sure to set the HAN installer page as homepage. and then close the browser and open it again each time you try to install. Also its best to use a wired connection, wifi is not recommended,

He doesn't need his ps3 activated for the HAN installer step, only needs it activated when he comes to dump his act.dat.
