PS3 HAN [OBSOLETE] [Tutorial] The Great PS3Xploit 3.0 HAN All In One Guide

Well this is a tutorial on how to bypass updating to 4.83 so you can activate your system and dump files or using flash writer.So things we need are simple a pc of course and a ps3 both connected to the same network and a software called ps3 proxy server you can download it at the end of this replay. Then second step is to know our local IP and for that we hit windows button+ letter r at the same time then type cmd in the box that comes out then at the cmd windows we write ipconfig and hit enter then we write down our local IPV4 (example 192.168.1.100 ) then we run the ps3 proxy server and type the ip of our pc in the box where it written 0.0.0.0 then we activate ps3 mode by ticking on the small square then we hit start button.Now we go to the ps3 network configuration we use everything automatic only in proxy we chose use proxy again we write our pc local ip and leave the port by default 8080 then we test our results and it should work.I made screenshots for using ps3 proxy server merged with the program.Enjoy and if you like this method add it into han full tutorial ( it would be nice ).

Anytime bro. Also I'm trying my best to make a proper tutorial on how to install large pkgs ( more than 4 gb ) from usb stick by splitting the game into parts then repack each folder and rename it to part 1 part 2...etc this take sometime but better than downloading the game into ps3 then installing it

For creating the dummy PSN account, what is a good suggestion for personal information - especially home address? Should I generate a fake address and use that? My only worry there is if Sony can check for who your ISP is and use that to see the actual city and state you're in. Do you use your actual address? An address of some place in your city?

It's a dummy account to get a workable act.dat file for resigning purposes, that's all. In practice, you should never have to use the account for anything else at all. You can put in the info you want, it should not make much of a difference.

I sincerely apologize for the double post here. I was actually holding my question in hopes that someone else would make another post before me lol.

Anywho, so I think I have everything working! Yay! Got a game installed and working. :) As part of the process, I had to do the PS3 Proxy Server setup for the whole 4.83 firmware mess.

Now that I've completed activation and dumping the files, am I free to Stop the PS3.ProxyServer.GUI process on my computer and remove the Proxy Server from my Network setup on the PS3? If I understand correctly, it was only needed for the activation process. Just double checking.

FYI
The latest resigner release is dated April 9th 2018. There has been no new commits on the repo since then, although I can see a pull request made 3 weeks ago by zolyek with files for macOS that I wasn't yet aware of.
I assume @habib will review the code when he gets the time.
 
Uh, hello I'm new here. I just came to say that I'm currently stuck at Part 1 Section D. When the HAN enabling gets at 95%, the enabling fails. I'm on OFW 4.82. This happened some times and I must know if I have to try until it works or if something's wrong. Thank you.

It may take some time. Clear browsing history and cache. Add the exploit page to bookmarks and start browser on blank page. These can help with your chances.

Did you activate your console?
I noticed your on 4.82, which cant be activated with 4.83 out now. So you need to use the proxy method to activate. This is an important step and can't be skipped

Would be really helpful if you would add this proxy to the guide https://github.com/mondul/PS3-Proxy/releases I had a lot of trouble finding a proxy that worked :)

Hi, just to say that I can enable HAN perfectly now. The problem now is when I use the resigner at part 5 B the bat file says "verify your files!"
I put all the necessary files on the right places as the guide stated. But it just gets into this message. Any help?
 
I've tested it with the .rap file both in the rap folder and in the rifgen-master folder. This time it created the two rif000 pkgs. However I don't know if it's safe or not, and (prolly a dumb question but anyway) if I should use the non-signed or the signed rif pkgs, thanks.
 
Wooooooo I managed to get the rif000 pkgs correctly with no apparent error, now the real problem is transfering my game to the console since it's 4Gb+, I already installed the signed rif000 pkg on the console now it only remains the game itself. I splitted the game but sadly I couldn't install it. PKG Linker doesn't match with me since I use Wi-fi and it's pretty boring. Can someone offer help? I would be very very grateful.
