So I've had a CECHA12 PS3 for some time now and it has very low mileage so it's in great condition, not to mention that it's been delidded and repasted so temps are fine. Ever since I updated to 4.91 CFW I've had weird issues that didn't exist before. Like the PS3 would suddenly shut down, do three beeps, and keep blinking the red light. When I turn it back on I get a "Restore system files" option and I do the restoration. The first time it happened it got me worried because I wasn't doing anything, I was on the XMB menu. Then it happened again while I was trying to quit a game (Assassin's Creed III) and it happened again with another game (Enslaved Odyssey to The West). I reverted to 4.90 CFW and I can't seem to replicate this issue, which led me to believe that the issue isn't in the hardware but rather a software issue.
Side note: something else I found strange is the dates of the errors in the SysCon error log, they're all 2006 even though I did install a new CMOS battery. so I dunno why that happens.
