Ok this might be a dumb question but when a console id gets banned do the accounts that have/are connected to the CID also get banned?

It is not automatic as far as we can make out but generally the PSN account currently in use when a violation of TCs is detected gets banned along with the console id.
Other PSN accounts previously used with the same console id should not be at risk though.

Other SEN accounts on console not, but all consoles tied to banned SEN accounts. At least there was reports for PS3 + not hacked PS4 bans (for some unknown reason PSV/PSTV aren't banning, even SEN accounts there, at least not yet).

I never heard of other consoles tied to the Account beeing banned, my PS4 used the same account that was banned in my PS3 and i just created another one in PS4.

But my cousin's account that was logged into my PS3 only once was banned, we didn't play any games on that account, I only downloaded one game from his account, but as soon as my account was banned, his was also banned.
