POPSLoader

PS2 POPSLoader v1.0.0 - rev5

@El_isra, how about making POPSLoader 2.0 which includes:
  1. This.
  2. SMB + BDMAssault integration (USB exFAT, iLink, UDPBD).
  3. Covers and screenshots support (OPL Manager compatibility).
  4. As simple a transfer as possible for those already using wLE_kHn or OPL DB.
  5. Interface like this (from here or here):

  1. Eventually
  2. Eventually
  3. Could be done. But I'm not sure if the graphics memory leak issue on Enceladus is resolved
  4. Not sure what you mean there.
  5. Program behavior is scripted in lua. Everyone can make "themes" for it just with a little bit of knowledge on how things are done in LUA

Not sure what you mean there
Those who use wLE_kHn or OPL DB already have VCD files and covers. It is necessary that POPSLoader supports these files without additional manipulation. The best tool is the one that does everything that its analogs do and even more.

popsloader lists VCDs from the POPS folder.
not sure what else you expect it to do....

(pro tip: while loading games from USB, if POPSLoader is placed on mass:/BOOT.ELF, POPStarter will automatically load it after performing an IGR)

Hi everyone!
For the past few days, I've been trying to use the protip mentioned in the instructions so that the program starts again after performing IGR. Every time, it kicks me back to wLe (most likely launched from the classic path mc0:\BOOT\BOOT.ELF).
I've tried everything – different USB drive brands, various formatting methods, and it's always the same result...
I'm following the instructions exactly (with PopsLoader named BOOT.ELF on the root of the USB drive).
Other than that, the program works normally, but I just can't use this return function after IGR. Has anyone encountered this issue? What could be causing it? Help!

Would love an "Exit POPSLoader" or "Return to OSDSYS" or something to exit the actual application.
Setting IGR to POPSLoader can result in requiring the console to be reset.

Do you mean that it is impossible to make IGR functional (automatically load PopsLoader after performing an IGR), or am I doing something wrong?

El_isra updated POPSLoader with a new update entry:
Wild that you updated this literally just as I was about to set it up. Not sure if it's an issue with my setup but the new version is giving me an error on launching a game. Looks like maybe the profiles folder just wasn't included in the 7z package.

Yeah.
I have the same, seems to be missing the PROFILES from the latest version and can't run because missing the POPSTARTER.ELF.

Dude... Learn to read! He wrote NOTHING about IGR!

I'm sorry, you're right. My English is still work in progress ;)

But, that does not resolve problem related to my question.

So has anyone encountered this issue? @El_isra What do you think?

POPStarter seems to check for mass:/BOOT.ELF before mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF

Yet, under some circumstances, it prefers to boot the one from mc0:/ first

Interesting to say the least. Too low USB-delay (again)?

Hmmm. It's possible. However, I checked all versions of the application, and the problem still persists, though I'm surprised it's happening only to me. Maybe the capacitors on the motherboard are slowly losing capacity :) "Mischievous inanimate nature"?
