a guy seems used this patch.
Good Video, but has the same old YouTube dis-respect
The problem with this videos is he doesn't give any credits and makes claims..
No mention of where he got it from... Answering questions about it and not letting the user's get any information,
Really disappointing, the lack of respect these Video's give devs and projects,. Even with his test they would of been valuable info in the discussion as well..May not be intentional dis-respect but it nonetheless disrespecting the project when videos do this.
Don't understand why they want to isolate the video's so much.
They could grow more by respecting the community.
Don't say that. He got it from the same person as i did (MinaRalwasser) and i'm sure he gave him permission to do the video![]()
i don't know. i don't have a ps2 game here to test. i've noticed that multiman launches faster and that ps1 classics do launch faster as wellDoes Overclocking the RSX helps with PS2 emulation too?
Congratulations on the projecti don't know. i don't have a ps2 game here to test. i've noticed that multiman launches faster and that ps1 classics do launch faster as well
You could poke lv1 but you would also have to restart it in order to apply the changes. Not sure how to do that but I would assume it must be possible.can it be implemented in the xai plugin? using lv1 peek n poke ? so the user can active/desactive the boost clocks or choose between the values via XMBML menu
So when a boost value is set, an rco edited to add "BOOST MODE" on the xmb is also installed.

So if this RAM is done then we will only need boost clocks for cell to completely overclock the system.@zecoxao How about the 775 mhz Memory you mentioned on your youtube video?
Just review the console's thermal folder and speed up the cooler. Fat PS3 consoles on syscom there's no way not to overheat@STLcardsWS
Pls add to the OP that, this mod is recommended to be done only on slims, as fat consoles already on base clock generate a lot of heat and heating has been an issue with the fats since day 1, especially the BC ones.
Therefore, it is only recommend to do it on slims as they don't have problems of heating.

@zecoxao If you implement this feature as well then it would be super easy to set the clock speeds via the XMB.can it be implemented in the xai plugin? using lv1 peek n poke ? so the user can active/desactive the boost clocks or choose between the values via XMBML menu
So when a boost value is set, an rco edited to add "BOOST MODE" on the xmb is also installed.

That's true but at the end of the day fats have heating issues due to the poor design of the system as well as the large die sizes of the Cell & RSX.Just review the console's thermal folder and speed up the cooler. Fat PS3 consoles on syscom there's no way not to overheat
