PS3 Project RSX Boost: Overclock your Retail PS3 RSX Speeds (ps3 cfw only)

In theory yes, in practice we don't know enough about the potential mid to long term impact on the various chip models & on already fragilized setups to make any sort of recommendations. This is still experimental & caution should prevail.
so does this plugin work on superslim ps3?

Hi everyone. I have been trying out this modified CFW doing some tests. Then it occurred to me to uninstall it by installing the CFW Evilnat CEX 4.88.2 (via XMB) and it resulted in an installation loop. Also it didn't work to take the HDD to the PC. The result is a brick and the console shuts down within seconds of powering on. Nothing happens because I have copies of my nand and the E3 Flasher. Has anyone had this problem or can you check to try to uninstall it properly?

Although I haven't used this tool, something similar happened to me once I had some issues with my PS3 and took the HDD out while it was freezed up (but not shut off)
Upon reentering the HDD, the System would shut off immediately and always panic crash 3 secs after turning it on, unless I put in another drive (doesnt matter which one). Even after I formatted it countless of times it still wouldnt stay turned on.
The solution? Low-Level Format your drive! You could try that, get an extra tool for that stuff since your default Windows stuff won't cut it but it worked in my case for sure!

Reports are very vague,
What are you guys doing with it?
What are you noticing?
What games have you played,

ect...
I'll report back when I've tested some games, I just got the system back up and running because the 1tb drive I threw in had a problem and my system slowed down significantly and even made me reinstall the firmware a couple of times. At first I thought it was the combination of things I did to the firmware to get the new cobra up and running on rebug but it ended up being my hard drive.

I have a feeling that most people haven't understood the purpose behind making this hack public for testing. I am afraid it's being installed indiscriminately by anyone getting their hands on the files & with little thought to consequences or fulfilling the requests for feedback.

Me too, i played this game on my overclocked Slim and didn't noticed issues
Maybe he's playing on a certain ps3 model that doesn't like being overclocked or it's just GTA 5 acting weird
Maybe. He also shows no evidence of being in an overclocked firmware. no dump, only a video showing a part of the game without anything else as proof.
