PS3 Project RSX Boost: Overclock your Retail PS3 RSX Speeds (ps3 cfw only)

The GPU Clock speed is set in multiple of 50Mhz (e.g. 600mhz or 650mhz).
The GDDR3 RAM Clock speed is set in multiple of 25Mhz (e.g. 700mhz or 725mhz or 750mhz).

If you want to test 4.89 Evilnat with GPU Clock @ 600Mhz & GDDR3 RAM Clock @ 750Mhz, Check the post #449

If you use SD display, you will need to apply the sandungas' fix for 4.89
https://github.com/aldostools/Resou...isplay_by_sandungas_req_dev_blind_enabled.pkg
(The writeable flash device /dev_blind must be enabled to allow the installation of this pkg)
Can you please make one with 650 core? I want to test it.

It's increments of 50.
So 650 will be the next step up.
Yea I'd like 650. Are you the one that makes them? I'd like to test 650/750 mem will always be 750 cause people report artifacting above 750. So 750 is the limit. But 50 more on core should yield some good results.

@Tanzu15
you can try mfwbuilder mod and patch lv1 on default Evilnat 4.89 CFW yourself. I have added now 650MHz for core, even though it is said on here several times, it gets unstable at this rate

btw, I have added now all keys and removed unnecessary ones
I don't know how to mess with that builder. But I will gladly use an already built pup with 650. Where did you post the links? Where the other links are?

I'd also like the link to the 650mhz 4.89 pup please.

Hello I would appreciate if someone upload the (EVILNAT 4.89 w/ RSX OVERCLOCK 600 750) File to me because the link for download does not work for me, thx

Edit: I manage to download the file, THX

Mine doesn't that above 65 on RSX. Overclock doesn't increase temps at all, cause voltage didn't go up. My OC performs identical to none OC.

Do you have a proof that OC doesn't increase temps !!!!

I'm pretty sure It did to mine and so many other people saying it does

maybe its all depend on the game your playing

what model are you using ? and your fan speed

If dynamic fan control is used, there should be little difference in the temperature because the fan control increases the fan speed dynamically when the CPU/RSX temperatures go above the maximum temperature configured.

If SYSCON or manual fan control is used, the difference in temperature should be more noticeable as result of the increased FPS processed. An improvement of +5 fps (like I have seen in the videos) may be barely noticed in gameplay.

The proof is I have it forced to 35% fan speed at all times. And temps weren't different at all from stock.
