PS3 Project RSX Boost: Overclock your Retail PS3 RSX Speeds (ps3 cfw only)

This overclock does not change voltages. Doing such would be a terrible idea considering the hardware reliability

Exactly. People don't understand that overclocking without changing voltage doesn't increase temps. It's why this is just free performance.

I don't know how to mess with that builder. But I will gladly use an already built pup with 650. Where did you post the links? Where the other links are?
I too would like someone to upload a 650mhz .pup, yes I understand it's probably unstable but I would like to see if it's a silicon lottery situation. Not like I can't always revert back...

I am not for posting CFWs publicly, but if no one else from here will patch it, I can make an exception and maybe making a patch file

edit
oh my, I have to admit that the mfwbuilder script is broken, at least for the 650MHz . sorry me and what a relief nobody has used it

I'm glad I didn't even attempt. Hell I wouldn't even know what I'm doing. I'm just a user. I don't know any of this stuff. If you make a working 650 let us know. Cause I'm not gonna attempt to do something I have no clue about.

Can ps3mfw-builder-0.2.1-mod build dex cfw safely?
I want rebuild PASTA_CFW_v1_DEX_4.84
I would stay away from building MFW from scratch, cause I had some problems with lv0tool, which I wanted to look into. have problems compiling it

but it is safe for modifying CFW

here is patch for original patched 489_CEX_EVILNAT_COBRA83_600_750_396e44b91d134aeea715a4432952c7ee__PS3UPDAT.PUP untested. sorry, no time atm, so use at your own risk. drop unrenamed CFW on batch or start the batch.

Is this 650 or just the one we already have which is Just 600?

then better don't try it. let me say I do not make mistakes at MFW that much but this is no guarantee from my side. maybe I can try tomorrow, but no promise
As long as the only problem I face is instability that shouldn't be a problem. If you compiled everything correctly, it shouldn't be a problem. But if worst case happens. Isn't there any other way to unbrick with just a usb? Surely flasher can't be the only way.
