It is the end of another month, and it is time to round up another batch of PlayStation Vita and PlayStation TV releases. Previously, we have been providing our members and readers with mid-month round ups (see: August, September), but we figured why not just put together a list at the end of each month that collects all the great new additions and updates we have seen in the past 30 days. It is a great time to be a part of the Vita scene with it's thriving developer community that continually improves this soon to be 9-year old console.
Before we dive right into the list, let's review some of the highlights we have seen in the month of October 2020. In the last week alone we saw @Rinnegatamante and TheFloW release re3, an open source Grand Theft Auto 3 now fully playable on the Vita and the PS TV, and we also saw the first implemenation of an OpenGL ES 2.0 graphic library for the Vita from Team CBPS. Developer @thehero_ (theheroGAC) continued his effort to help every user get the latest and greatest applications and plugins with his AutoPlugin 2 and Auto Installer VPK updates. VitaHEX Games has previously provided us with several amazing homebrew game creations; but this month we see his focus shifting on other avenues, bringing an updated release to his Cosolepedia 3D app and releasing his HexFlow Launcher. We have also seen some more great ports being updated this month, including: OpenBOR, DDLC-LOVE, Higurashi, GemRB, Chocolate Doom, and ending the month with Julius. There is still plenty of more that the scene has received this month, so be sure to check out all of the TABS below in our collection of this month's release.
