PS3 PS1 and PS2 Emu completely stretch screen

I'm looking for a way to play PS1 and PS2 games in a complete fullscreen image.
I know thats not the way it was ment to be played but in 4:3.
Is there a way to modify the emu.self and just add it that when selecting Fullscreen that it completely stretches the image to fullscreen on top and bottom?
Now it's always displayed in a letterbox and using my tv settings to zoom always causes the screen to be cut on all sides.

Same here with PS1 emulator.

I thought there was at least widescreen support now. Add in overscan from tv settings, maybe?

It still crops the image, maybe it could be an easy thing to do to simply stretch the image completely.
By editing the .self but i don't know where to begin.
