PS3HEN PS2 Classics: icon0 and pic0 not transparent?

Hi, I've been trying for almost 6 hours (Not an exaggeration; I started at 7 PM and gave up close to 1 AM) to figure out what's going on with my icon0 and pic0. I'm trying to make a professional-looking release of a PS2 game as a PS2 Classic for a fan translation I contributed to, meaning I want a nice-looking icon0 and pic0. I have been creating the PKG through PS2 Classics GUI.

However, whenever I install the game on my PS3, the background (which looks transparent in Windows 10) becomes black.

I have used the following programs to try and create a proper transparent icon0:

- GIMP
- PNGquant
- PhotoShop with SuperPNG (Which uses the architecture of PNGquant)
- OptiPNG
- PNGoo (Which also uses the architecture of PNGquant)

These were all recommended by users Berion and Sandungas in a thread from 2018 called "ps2 icon not trasnparent???" (The typo is crucial to finding the thread; I tried to post a link but it was caught in the spam filter.)

This wouldn't bother me so much if the default pic0 that came with PS2 Classics GUI didn't work flawlessly on a PS3; there are no black edges when using this. (Again, would upload for others' perusal but it was caught by spam.)

What in the world is going on? How do I make an image with transparency that PS2 Classics GUI and the PS3 will like? Please advise.

Thank you for your time.

Saving as PNG in PS using SuperPNG plugin, check in option called Clean Transparent.

Sony always using poor pnglib and always across all their consoles there are compatibility problems because always something doesn't support or support in bad way. ;)
