PS2 Classics PLaceholder SAVES issue

Hi there, i need your help. I played with my friend Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks on ps3 through ps2 emulator. we get 71% complete of the game. We played it only trough ps2 classic placeholder, i didnt have ps2 classic manager then. After that i have installed ps2 classic manager and edit memory card 1 & 2. Then i launched MKSM and save have vanished. then i delete ps2 classic manager and edited memory card 1 & 2, and try to launch MKSM - still no saves. in game folder dev_hdd0/PS2ISO/Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks/SAVEDATA - there are 2 files, i think i need them to restore my saves. What i need to do to load them on ps2 classic placeholder?

PLEASE HELP ME

I thought all save data was saved in the PS2ISO/"GAME"/SAVEDATA directory, so I backed up both those .VME files for the game i was playing before trying out PS2 Classics Manager 1.01.

I followed the instructions on creating the two ps2 memory cards etc for PS2 Classics Manager and loaded up my game... no save data found. I tried many different things and ended up deleting PS2 Classics Manager, the two created memory cards, and copied back my backup .VME files to the PS2ISO/"GAME"/SAVEDATA directory.

Loaded up the game... still no saves found. I then overwrote the ones in the PS2U10000/USRDIR/SAVADATA with my backup thinking that may work. No luck.

Are the saves not saved to those two VME files?? I really hate to loose 7 hours of work on this game.

t looks like backing up the .VME files do not matter. I had to export the data from the ps2 classics placeholder from the SAVE DATA UTILITY (PS2). When it backed up to my external, it showed two new .VME files that contained the real save file.

Strangely enough, these are not the same as the ones in either the PS2ISO game folder OR the PSU1000/SAVEDATA as both of those are always empty even after a save.

Try copy your SCEVMC0.VME to this locations:

/dev_hdd0/game/PS2L00123/USRDIR/SAVEDATA
/dev_hdd0/savedata/vmc

Btw. You didn't read tutorial... http://www.psx-place.com/forum/ps1-...-manager-placeholder-ps3-captain-cps-309.html

Tutorial said:
Before you install this release of PS2 Classics Manager, make a backup of any Memory Card data, Covers or anything you stored in PS2 Classics Placeholder directory or PS2 Classics Manager directory.

Does Codebreaker iso work on ps2 emulator? if it does, what i need to do to launch the game after i set cheats on? when it says insert game disk and push X, and i'm pressing X console just switching off and after i restart in there is no effect of cheats.

Now is too late. You should do this steps before. Classic manager propably overwrite your memory card before you backup it.

Does Codebreaker iso work on ps2 emulator?

Yes, but is really hard to use, you need to rebuild clean game iso with multiloader (is ps2 app to build multi games cdvd's), and place codebreaker elf as one option, and game elf as second option, and rebuild iso. Then after selecting codes, press x, game restart to multiloader menu, and there you can select game.
