PS2 Ps2 disc isn't spinning

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my ps2 slim model 70004. Disc is not spin but I dont know where could be the problem. Maybe it is spindle motor but I am not sure. I've tried clean lens, clean whole ps2 from dust with compressed air, disassemble and assemble again. The spindle motor is "glued" to the whole mechanic.

One could check for voltage at the motor with a multimeter. My guess is the motor itself. Motor/laser assemblies sell for cheap.

how you can check the voltage on the motor ?

but in my case the is a strange noise and i don't see the light of the laser !

@DanielRemains what do you think is the issue in my case ?
