PS3 8002f14e error after hfw install

So I have an old Ps3 lying around and decided to make use of it again. It didn't have anything installed, also because there wasn't a hard drive in it to begin with. I then found out that you could jailbreak a ps3 with latest 4.84. So, I then dug up a hard drive and install 4.84 on the ps3. It booted up just fine. I then followed this tutorial:
I followed the tutorial as exactly as given. The problem I first began to see was that I couldn't get a reading from PyPS3Checker to check the patched dump, after install the flash.hex file to my NAND in this sense. So, I then continued with the tutorial into installing 4.84.1 REBUG REX (+ COBRA v8.01)." During the install, my PS3 now suddenly becomes the victim of the update loop know as 8002f14e. I have done extensive research into finding a solution which became the long hours of doing the following: Reformatting the hard drive and reinstalling, use a different hard drive, take apart the console and checking the BD connection, removing the circular-silver battery, dusting the whole console. I have checked the BD connection about 5 times now and the BD works just fine, there were no issues with it when the XMB was installed from before this issue. I have also taken the console apart checking everything to make sure that there were no connections left unplugged about 10 times and nothing was ever disconnected. I have tried literally everything that you could find about this error and I'm starting to think that I just seriously ruined a perfectly fine console about 20 minutes into is upbringing which I have potentially just ended. I have seen things about an E3 flasher but I'm not sure how it'd work because I soon just deleted my NAND original and patched .hex files. Is there any other way to fix this without replacing anything? Help would be greatly appreciated for those who may have an answer!

It could very well be your BT/Wifi module is the issue. Try installing noBD CFW..

I have actually tried this already multiple times but it gives the error: 8002f957 The data is corrupted (something along that). Should the wire be in a certain position or is it just completely arbitrary? I will take another look at the module. Is there anything in particular I should look at?

8002F14E - Its a error related with the Blu-Ray Module, assuming your PS3 its a Phat or a Slim CECH-2000/2100, once you have your machine exploited, you need to install a NoBD Custom Firmware to bypass the BD Module Restriction.

Remember, sometimes even with a Dead BD Module, the PS3 would install a normal CFW,but it will fail to launch any Homebrew (happend to my CECH-2104A when it had a Dead BD Module).

I've checked the Wifi module and made sure its intact and also tried to install a nobd cfw and it gives me the error 8002f281. I've done everything for that issue too and I'm still stuck. I have no idea what will even work, if any is even possible.

Did you try swapping for another HDD, just for testing purposes? I might be related to the HDD, but i suspect it its something bigger than that, but always welcome a try.

Remember, if you swap the HDD, you will be forced to reinstall the firmware from scratch, i don't say to wipe the existing HDD due if the HDD it's not the culprit, at least you keep your data intact.

If you have access to the XMB try testing the BD as well as the BT/WIFI functionalities,if both of these work, and the HDD its not faulty then, its something else to investigate.

Yes, I've done that too. Basically everything you could think of doing to fix the issue. I'm stuck in an update loop and cannot get to the XMB so I cannot even use the PS3 for anything. No matter what I try to install I always get the same error.

Hi, my PS3 is CECH-2508b and it's throwing the same error at 30%. Could you please help?
