Hi all,
just managed to get my hands on one of the cleanest backwards compatible ps3s ive ever seen and wanted to get some advice from the forums about what the best measures for preservation would be to take as id like this to last a long time, obviously i plan on jailbreaking it and running webman mod for fan control but ive got a few questions
1. does the cechc model come stock with a 15 blade or 19 blade fan? as i have a 19blade fan to replace it if not
2. due to its low amount of usage (which ive determined by it being on 3.60 ofw and having like 3 game saves from 2008 on the console) is it worthwhile cracking it open and putting some new thermal paste on the heatsink as it has still got its warranty sticker in mint condition
3. does this console need to be delidded with very low playtime if im using fan control settings via webman and am keeping it in a well ventilated area or am i just being ocd about this console
any other advice for lifespan increases would be amazing,
Thanks again to everybody who reads this and has any info to offer cheers.
