PS3 doesn't boot, no video, green light

My PS3 Slim (320GB) recently stopped booting. I tried two new sets of cables, thinking it was my TV, but no luck. Next, I tried to access the Safe Mode/recovery menu, but still saw no output on the screen. I also tried Safe Mode on an old, composite input TV to rule out my primary TV—no love there either.
A controller connected to USB will not register; it just blinks all four LEDs slowly. It shows the same symptoms when connected with component and old-school composite cables. I have no HDMI available to test.
The green light is on, there's no "yellowish" light of death, and the HDD access light will blink once at boot, then stays off.
The HDD doesn't have any unusual noises (clicking, voice coil dead, etc.).
Since I can't even get into Safe Mode, does this mean it's motherboard or power supply?
I also tried removing HDD and booting it up, it failed, i tried all methods of safe mode but none of them worked, console is stuck and has green light. The same problem was also when i used it last time, but it booted, now it won't even boot.

You sir have a GLOD which without soldering for UART for checking syscon errors could be quite a few things. With the 320gb I'm guessing it's a CECH-300X model but could be a 250X model. Seeing which forum this is in I'm gonna lead towards 3000. But I have two over here that have RSX errors. Only recourse without dumping syscon is trying to see if it's a bad HDD. That can cause GLOD

A bad hdd or ssd can cause GLOD? I got mine by taking it apart and applying new thermal paste. Why? No picture shows even when I remove the ssd. I'm supposed to see an image.
