PS3 PS3 FAT triple beeps with an hdd installed, doesn't without one installed?

Hello, i have this weird issue with this ps3 fat i thought was long dead, i was able to kind of troubleshoot it just now but it leaves me without answers, hopefully i can get some here. Thanks

Three beeps is a general failure. First thing is try a different HDD. And if you have some soldering skills you can try to diagnose via the syscon method.

i have no different HDD sadly, tested it on a ps3 fat with rsx issues and no issues there, as for syscon i have no soldering skills

I fixed it temporarely, i inserted the hdd slowly while it was on and turned it off, it works now? Something shorting the mobo surely
