PS3 Ps3 fat with 8002F225 problem

Hi everyone!

I bought ps3 fat in perfect condition, but with 8002f225 error. Model is CECHH04
Seller sad that ps3 is working and it only needs new hdd, witch obviusly is not true.

Tried multiple hdd, and usb flash drives, nothing helps. Its stuck on 3.56 system.
Does anyone have any information how to fix this? I have not found enough informaton online.

I have microscope, soldering iron, hot air staton and TL866 II plus programmer.
Can i flash NOR with my programmer?

If anyone has any information about this problem, please share it with me. Thanks!
 
No its error that i get on screen when i try to install firmware.
Its a shame that it doesnt work, because console is in perfect shape inside. Newer opened, no dust inside and thermal paste looked almost like new when i opened it.

Update: i tried hybrid firware too, and i am getting same error.
Update 2: tried restore ps3 system in recovery, it did something, and now i get 8002f2c5 when i try to update system.

hmm, try leaving console alone until something else pops up. i tired that and welp, it worked.
i dont remember what it said but it gave "suggested actions" or something.

Are you sure that the .PUP files you are using are correct. As in SHA1 and MD5 hash correct?

Actually its strange how 2 people have the same issue when trying to install the firmware.

This is just a guess but it appears that the person that owned it beforehand might have yanked out the USB that they were using to install the firmware when it was checking it which lead to corruption of the system files on the flash or the hard-drive
