PS3 PS3 Jailbreak Error (80023017)

Yep, tried, no dice. Will install 4.82 tomorrow and see if it helps... For now though, gotta go rk bed. Will update in 8 ish hours or so with news
 
Rebug won't let me install any update, 4.80 or 4.82. On both DEX and CEX, the update is greyed out, and when I click it, yields the error code 80029CCA.

Beginning to suspect that there's something wrong with my cfw lol

From what I remember, a greyed out REBUG-X.XX.X.PUP means the firmware is recognized but corrupt. At least that was the case for me, I didn't check the MD5 Sum first, and they (the pups) were corrupt.

I have had this many times when I have been going up and down through firmware versions testing stuff out. Now we just got to find this issue out before we can sort the original issue out. This error is showing that the update data is corrupted, but it may not be, it could be the USB Flash drive your using. Try reformatting it to 'FAT32 MBR' then create the folders PS3 and UPDATE again and try again.

If you have no luck with the firmware PUP you downloaded then use this one as its defo not corrupted and is the one I keep on my Flash drive if I need to re-install my firmware, it will defo install if the Target ID is DEX. Just rename it PS3UPDAT.PUP

Hey, sorry for the delay. Just downloaded it there, and will install it later... got a reply on Reddit from someone saying that the maker of Sen Enabler has been made aware of this issue and is working on a fix, potentially, though I can't comment how true that is for anyone else reading this. In the meantime, I'll try to update with this.
 
Dudes i am having the exact same problem, i jailbroke my console myself and several others when i used to do that. i know what im doing and how to set up the console. Today i turned my ps3 on after its been sitting unused for months, i was having some issues with the disc drive not working and the console refusing to load any games or apps. i did some troubleshooting. After reinstalling rebug 4.76.1 which is the version ive been using (this was the latest version when i installed originally and it has been working so i just never updated it) the drive started working properly and the apps and games would load again, however after the reinstall my accounts lost their login info i guess because none of them have the option to sign in anymore. Each one has the option to sign up, but when i go to do that i click existing account and i get the same error youve been getting. I followed every step in your thread up til now to see if anything would work but i am stuck in the same place as you. And it really wouldnt be a big deal for me but the game im trying to play, (DBZ Budokia HD Collection) fails to register the trophy info because it cant get to psn i guess? so i cant play the game until i resolve this. ive been all over the internet looking for a solution and i cannot find one. Even if the reason i cannot play the game isnt due to not being able to access the psn, i still want to have my psn access back. but im pretty sure once this is fixed my game will work too.
 
After reading this thread and doing some research, the only possible answer to what is occurring is that PSN's DDOS security has banned the internal ip... (for an unknown reason) therefore making it impossible for us to create new accounts... I have 1 account I currently play on and can't create another, fingers crossed i don't get banned, hope I've helped in some way :)
 
You have to change part of your idps code in webman or rebug toolbox to 84 instead of 82.

This happens is, because when you converted your system to dex,it changed part of your console id code aswell.If you change it back to 84 again it lets you online since your console id will apear as a valid cex idps.

I can either spoof my idps to 82 DEX or 87 CEX.... In rebug

You need to spoof it to EID5 (CEX) not EID0 (DEX) in REBUG Toolbox to be able to sign in to PSN. 87 is UK region PS3's IDPS.

You can either use REBUG Toolbox, webMAN, CCAPI or PSN Patch to set. With CCAPI you can set it to spoof on boot every time you start your PS3 so you don't have to worry about remembering to manually do this in REBUG toolbox or button combos.

Nope, still no luck, like I said I can sign in on one account without a problem, when it comes to creating an account I press sign up, create a new account then an error message pops up "An error has occurred.(80023017)" & when i go to change my active ps3id in rebug toolbox I can spoof to EID0 82: (DEX) or EID5: 87 (CEX) & neither of them enable me to create a new account...

when you switch to the user profile you want to create the account for go to the DEBUG settings menu at the bottom of the Settings column under Network settings and check that the "NP Environment" is set to np.

if this fails create the new account on the internet with either your phone or pc on the official website then try to sign in with the new account on the ps3. That error code is a Cannot connect to psn error.

Yeah np environment is set to np, it was already set to np... & I get the same error message for use an existing account, I simply can't add an online account to it.. it does the same when I try use any features of online.. e.g. the account I have that goes online, I get the same error message for account management
 
I use firmware 4.55 rogero! Two years ago, I created there a second profile and account. played for about a year using sen enabler and psn patch. Not played for a long time, I decided to play Black Ops, played for ten days. I decided to reset the ps3 settings and after that does not go into the profile does not create a new. 80023017. I tried a p3 proxy server, the same thing.
Has anyone tried to upgrade firmware to 4.83?

Upgrade to 4.82.2 rebug cex and try the latest version of sen enabler.Your version of sen enabler could be outdated.

Honestly the 4.83 cfw's outside of rebug cfw arent worth it.Mabe ferrox is ok,but rebug still has more advantages currently.
 
Error 80023017 is internet congestion issues or a DDoS attack on your ip. Can also be psn maitenence. Restart your router, check all networking connections and or cables and try again.
