PS3 PS3 MultiEmu Downloader - All in One OFW Emulator

Did you test infones and work ? Its for ps2 classic ?
Did you say infones work ? What the verison work ? Link please?
We are working on two completely-separate and different projects, so I cannot be sure what he has accomplished, and vice-versa...
However, he noted the info you seek, in this very thread, just today:

InfoNES dlanor rev.4
That is the original release by "dlanor" (aka = Ronald Andersson)... A quick Google-Search should find it fairly easily. ;)

Please note, most of the stuff we are working on, will simply not boot/launch "directly" for you at all, yet lol (unless you have plenty of PS2-experience, and with just only the original releases you may find, from the original sources), as sometimes (most-times lol) much has to be done to make something work properly on newer systems.

All I can say is it has been confirmed to work already (probably with many modifications, knowing kozzys determination :) lol).

I cannot speak for him, but nothing in my main project is ready for release to public yet, all sorts of compatibility-issues, or modules not loading correctly after launch, save-files not saving/loading properly, corruption-possibilities to be removed, hi-score files not re-reading after reboot, and several other things.

The only things I dont mind saying in advance of any release (honestly, just so I dont receive a thousand questions, like what happened to the PS3Xploit Team recently ;) :-p), is that I have completely-revamped that whole antiquated uLE process which some of you have been using out there (which I will release as well, soon, however bugging me about an availability-date will only delay its release, as I do this for free and as a hobby after all).

...Also, I have plenty of more PS2-Emulators (+ Homebrew) coming for you all very soon (working out the glitches currently), and I have been testing my "entire" PS2-brew "library" (lots not available anymore, and more-than a decade-worth, with many versions/updates, of everything basically), which is taking up most of my time right now, and I have been hard-at-retesting for the past 24-ish hours diligently, looking for more to add, for all of your enjoyment.

Thank. (probably with many modifications) ??? Need modifications?
Youre welcome. :)

Possibly... Cannot answer that... Yet lol...

As I have not made it as far as that revision yet (out of the hundreds currently being testing), so Im unsure of any specific-compatibility with that version, other than what I read here just today (which is that is has been confirmed possible, in some way).

What is the procedure for creating a standalone package for a single emulator?

My assumption was to take the emulator elf file and rename to something like 'slus_123.45' without FILE extension .ELF.
Then I took one of @NiHuShu premade emulator packs, replaced the SLUS file and configured the the cfg file to reflect the new SLUS file name. Repacked it to .bin using cdgenps2 and proceeded with the usual conversion to PS2 backup...

Can't get anything to boot this way but emulators booted through ULaunchELF did work... So I know it's something I'm doing wrong with creating the Iso...

Did you added dummy to it?

i was using fire red, but the emu wont grab the config unless i need to remove the # per game that i have on the config list? Placed in same folder as emu, and copy/pasted on save drive in the folder structure it needs. It has some specific config fixes needed to run.

Also some searching online says emus run hot. Since the fans pushed to run high and since we cant adjust it on ofw, is it at risk of overheating (more than say a ps3 title)?

Tested other games, they work but she gets hot
Possibly could do harm if it gets too hot to touch.

Hi guys everytime I try to convert a PBP file to ISO.BIN.DAT it just comes out as a 100mb iso.bin file it is not the original size of 600mb. It was working before and now it is not. I don't know what is going on...

Yes, I kept all files and folder directories, just replaced the SLUS and reconfigured the cfg file
If you think it is something YOU are doing wrong with creating the ISO...

A good place to start:
....... Try Post #2 HERE .......

I recommend always making your own images with CDgenPS2, as swapping items from someone elses images, just isnt always going to work... You should learn how to do them yourself properly, and it is VERY easy to do (the hard part will be dealing with all the HAN complications/added steps/issues). ;)

IF you do use someone elses image, Id recommend leaving the SYSTEM.cnf alone, and always copy/pasting the exact (COMPLETE) file-name of their ELF, to rename your own ELF that is replacing the original in the same location.

Also, when using CDgenPS2, you will have the best luck when selecting all files at once (when dragging/dropping), and (the IMPORTANT PART is) dragging from/with the "SYSTEM.cnf" file specifically. ;) ;) ;)

My images have all sorts of names currently, so you are NOT limited to only "SLUS" or the like... They just need to be in an (old-school) "8+3" setup, which will be described in detail (in a few different places) throughout the LINK I posted. ;)

Confirming that the new ReGBA ELF is working fine. Thanks @belek666
;) It was "confirmed" the day the Dev released it lol... Didnt everyone try it like that very minute?? :-p

Speaking of ReGBA though...
Has anyone been able to get the Individual-Game-Configs to work properly?.. They dont load upon reboot, however they do actually save and appear on MC0... Very strange indeed...
That was really the only thing I had any issues with, as everything saved/loaded/etc properly.

As for game compatibility, it was the same as my actual Real-PS2-Hardware-Tests you were around for just a few years back... Awesome! :D

"Tron 2.0: Killer App" is the only game on my wish-list, specifically the mini-game within, called "Discs of Tron". :(

Keep up the great work @ EVERYONE involved!

Thanks for link to your post. There is a plethora of information I never knew about ps2 homebrew.

I'm pretty clued up on most exploits and homebrew etc, I first used FMCB years ago, but as all the homebrew I used ran from usb or internal hdd, I never felt the need to create my own cd images.
But I'll have a good read of your post and have a crack at it myself.

Thanks again @UniqueUserName

But no one mentionned they got it working here as PS2 Classic.
BTW, how areyou testing it ? I don't see any PS3 mentionned in your signature. :)
True, very true... :D IMO when nobody posts = "Help, I cant make it work" = Confirmed... lmfao! j/k :-p

Im testing with THIS: http://www.psx-place.com/threads/journey-of-a-noob-in-the-ps3-world.15845/#post-96760

The reason there is no "PS3" in my siggy is a simple one...
I only have a few months experience with the platform...

If it were in my siggy, I would be getting all sorts of technical questions, because it clearly says:
"Feel free to message me with ANY questions or support"
Since Im still a PS3-Noob, I would only have one choice in most-matters, to tell everyone to ask Shao. ;) LOL

Not just one post, scroll to the top and youll find the Table Of Contents for PS2-Noobs, which tells you where all the good stuff is. :)

Dont blame you for sticking with the digital storage methods...
HDD/USB/SMB are the best ways for sure.

However, the CD-ISO can work most-times in OPL as well... ;)
Which is excellent for the EMU that doesnt work through uLE, nor directly from the OPL-APPS-page, such as ColecoVision / Atari5200 / M.A.M.E. / Etc. (which wouldnt launch using your methods without at least making a CD-ISO).
... You could also use those CD-ISOs to add all emulators to the same page as your PS2-ISOs in OPL.
