Wow I need to test it.InfoNES dlanor rev.4 work fine here
LOL, not according to kozzy...I know but it's the only version of InfoNES that boots
You need to use the CD or MC-Card-compatible versions of emulators, as even the USB-versions dont work properly.
...At least until someone Develops: Virtual USB, or Virtual HDD.![]()
InfoNES dlanor rev.4 work fine here
Did you test infones and work ? Its for ps2 classic ?
We are working on two completely-separate and different projects, so I cannot be sure what he has accomplished, and vice-versa...Did you say infones work ? What the verison work ? Link please?
That is the original release by "dlanor" (aka = Ronald Andersson)... A quick Google-Search should find it fairly easily.kozarovv said:InfoNES dlanor rev.4
Youre welcome.Thank. (probably with many modifications) ??? Need modifications?
Did you added dummy to it?What is the procedure for creating a standalone package for a single emulator?
My assumption was to take the emulator elf file and rename to something like 'slus_123.45' without FILE extension .ELF.
Then I took one of @NiHuShu premade emulator packs, replaced the SLUS file and configured the the cfg file to reflect the new SLUS file name. Repacked it to .bin using cdgenps2 and proceeded with the usual conversion to PS2 backup...
Can't get anything to boot this way but emulators booted through ULaunchELF did work... So I know it's something I'm doing wrong with creating the Iso...

Wow I need to test it.
Possibly could do harm if it gets too hot to touch.i was using fire red, but the emu wont grab the config unless i need to remove the # per game that i have on the config list? Placed in same folder as emu, and copy/pasted on save drive in the folder structure it needs. It has some specific config fixes needed to run.
Also some searching online says emus run hot. Since the fans pushed to run high and since we cant adjust it on ofw, is it at risk of overheating (more than say a ps3 title)?
Tested other games, they work but she gets hot
If you think it is something YOU are doing wrong with creating the ISO...What is the procedure for creating a standalone package for a single emulator?

Yes, I kept all files and folder directories, just replaced the SLUS and reconfigured the cfg file
Confirming that the new ReGBA ELF is working fine. Thanks @belek666
It was "confirmed" the day the Dev released it lol... Didnt everyone try it like that very minute??

A good place to start:
....... Try Post #2 HERE .......
I recommend always making your own images with CDgenPS2, as swapping items from someone elses images, just isnt always going to work... You should learn how to do them yourself properly, and it is VERY easy to do (the hard part will be dealing with all the HAN complications/added steps/issues).
IF you do use someone elses image, Id recommend leaving the SYSTEM.cnf alone, and always copy/pasting the exact (COMPLETE) file-name of their ELF, to rename your own ELF that is replacing the original in the same location.
Also, when using CDgenPS2, you will have the best luck when selecting all files at once (when dragging/dropping), and (the IMPORTANT PART is) dragging from/with the "SYSTEM.cnf" file specifically.![]()

My images have all sorts of names currently, so you are NOT limited to only "SLUS" or the like... They just need to be in an (old-school) "8+3" setup, which will be described in detail (in a few different places) throughout the LINK I posted.

Speaking of ReGBA though...
Has anyone been able to get the Individual-Game-Configs to work properly?.. They dont load upon reboot, however they do actually save and appear on MC0... Very strange indeed...
That was really the only thing I had any issues with, as everything saved/loaded/etc properly.
As for game compatibility, it was the same as my actual Real-PS2-Hardware-Tests you were around for just a few years back... Awesome!
"Tron 2.0: Killer App" is the only game on my wish-list, specifically the mini-game within, called "Discs of Tron".

Keep up the great work @ EVERYONE involved!

True, very true...But no one mentionned they got it working here as PS2 Classic.
BTW, how areyou testing it ? I don't see any PS3 mentionned in your signature.![]()
Not just one post, scroll to the top and youll find the Table Of Contents for PS2-Noobs, which tells you where all the good stuff is.Thanks for link to your post. There is a plethora of information I never knew about ps2 homebrew.
I'm pretty clued up on most exploits and homebrew etc, I first used FMCB years ago, but as all the homebrew I used ran from usb or internal hdd, I never felt the need to create my own cd images.
But I'll have a good read of your post and have a crack at it myself.
Thanks again @UniqueUserName
