I started this thread just to share a solution for a problem that I had with PKG Linker. I couldn't get PKG Linker to work via cable connection, I tried (almost) everything, like changing to PKG Linker 1.0, internet connection sharing and bridge connection, but nothing worked. Yes, I changed the IP address of my PS3 and my PC. Then I realized the problem was with the apache portable. I followed the trouble-shooting section of the forum of PKG Linker 2.0 here on psx-place and I found out that I could use the apache from XAMPP as my server. I installed XAMPP and then I copied the PKG Linker files into the htdocs folder of XAMPP (usually located in C:/xampp) and just liked that my problem was solved.
I'm currently on HFW 4.86 with HEN 3.0.1
I know the problem was with my computer that couldn't run well apace portable 32 bits, but I chose this title for better ilustration.
