That's the IP of my website. It was originally intended to collect the found keys using a php to share them with other users in the community to save processing time. You can block that TCP connection. It has not effect over the results. The data is not longer being collected/shared anyway.

Something similar is done also by the other bruteforce tools in the ps3 tools collection, including Bruteforce SaveData.

DISCLAIMER: Only decryption keys were being collected. IDPS/PSID/ERK *never* have been collected by any of my tools.

@aldostools i'm having some erros in newer version of win11

I updated the cygwin in the ps3tools directory but same thing, any idea? the sprx is compiled but gives me black screen

scetool is reporting an error about a pointer to FAST_CWD. I haven't experienced that error before.

Try updating scetool.exe in ps3tools/tools/scetool to 0.2.8, 0.2.9 or 0.2.9 private

Also try turning off DEP

Can someone please tell me the md5 hash value for the newest/latest PS3 tools 4.8.1 exe file? I want to know so I can check against the one I have.

I've been trying to use the download links from the Resources page here, but I've tried several of the websites I'm directed to and either the file has been deleted from them (that was the case for a few of them) or I can't get around an error on the download pages themselves once I'm able to choose which source I want to download from (meaning, I clicked some of the "Get Link" links, tried to download on the pages I was directed to, but the download methods on those pages weren't working for me).

I do have a copy of the exe I downloaded in maybe 2019 that says it is 4.8.1, but I think it might be outdated? At least some of the tools are. For instance PS2 Classics GUI (aka PS3 PS2 Classics) in my version of Aldo's Tools says version 2.0.2, while I see screenshots from 2021 in the PS2 Classics GUI release thread that say version 2.2.3.

a few of the tools may have recieved updates but not the collection itself. ps2classics gui was updated several times i know.

I, too, tried those links before (the ones on that mirrored page) and I could not get the several that I tried to work. Either the file was removed or errors were preventing me from navigating to whatever page I was being sent to when I clicked the various buttons for the various sites on that page.

So yeah, if you can, GitHub would be a lot better way to access the file. I've successfully downloaded files from GitHub before that were false-positives for anti-virus programs, so I would hope that it'd be fine to put it there. Less sketchy of a site, too (no offense meant to you).

In relation to your previous response to me, I'm about to go through all of the programs in the Tools collection to see if they have a more recent version or not and make note of it if so. I feel like I might want to make a cup of coffee for this lol. If I remember to, I'll come back and make a list of them and the newer versions.

Yeap, all are down, puting it on Github is a good idea, i had to download from mine, but i have it in PKG format.

I have multiple guides on the Pro mod, and one of them involves installing a package of tools directly onto a USB drive, hence why it's in pkg format.

While I could provide a direct download link for the file, it would require the user to know where to save it and etc. By using a custom pkg, the process is easier.
