PS3 PS3 Toolset Bricked my PS3

I have a PS3 Slim CECH-21XX
I bought it a few days ago. I updated it to Official Firmware 4.91

I tried to Jailbreak it using the PS3 Toolset, It is CFW Compatible as stated on the Website
I used Load Patch via HTTP

When i went to Apply Loaded Patch i pressed continue, 2 Seconds later my PS3 Turned off with 3 Beeps and a Flashing Red Light. And now if i attempt to turn it back on it will Beep 3 times then turn off, It won't let me into the recovery mode or anything. What do i do now, how do i fix this?

I did not press the Power Button when it was patching, nothing was on the Power Button during it.

I did make a Flash Memory Backup before doing it so not all hope is lost for recovering it

What URL you have used? There are unofficial and let's say incomplete bgtoolsets in the wild.

NAND/NOR cells degrade over time. Maybe you has bad blocks, maybe you have got new.

If this dump is complete an valid, then it is your last chance to restore it console to working state. However, not if bad blocks are there.

Used the Official https ps3toolset.com
Running my dump.bin with PyPS3checker comes back with 0 Warnings and 0 Dangers

I cleared all the PS3 Browser Data and Home Page before doing it.

What the heck do i do now, I heard an E3 Flasher is an option. Soldering stuff and Applying things to the Motherboard seems even more risky, And i don't know which E3 Flasher is required since there seem to be different ones

unfortunately, afaik, the only e3 flashers that are legit come from Germany, and they come at a premium price. I've never used the toolset to offer a suggestion, just letting you know. it may be cheaper just to buy a new console than buying an e3.

hardware flasher is the only way to recover. At least you have a valid backup.

Also, If you're selling it "for parts", just add a note that you have a valid flash image and that you can include it with the console. Maybe someone wants to spend time and recover it from the trash.

Is it possible that the console overheated? Was the fan running a normal speed? Just curious if this was bad timing.

The only other thing that makes sense is what berion mentioned with bad blocks.

I would offer to try restoring your backup with my e3 flasher, but i don't have a PO box to ship to. I would be curious to see the current flash state redumped and see where it failed.

Is there anyone in your area that would have the e3 flasher that could dump current flash and restore yours?

If you do get one, you only need to solder one connection for tristate then use a clip to dump and write to flash.

If you cannot resolve this, maybe I can get it shipped to my work or get a PO box but it would probably require donations as I don't have the money currently to do that. I might know someone who does have a PO box though, I would have to ask around.

I would look for some clues of repair's/tampering on the console It's a newly acquired PS3.

- Warranty Sticker Intact? (can give us some clue's one way or another)
- If console has been opened, was it clean inside? (if not, then it was opened for potentially another reason other then cleaning)
- Then if opened, was there any obvious repairs done?
