PS3 PS3 won't show any signal in the screen after hen installation

As the title says, right after restarting the console to finish hen installation the console just doesn't show any screen, i've tried plugging it in a different tv, tried starting it in safe mode but nothing.
It's probably not dead as I've tried putting a movie dvd when connected to a tv and I could hear sound.
It's a slim, model 3011A if it helps.
If anyone has got any solutions I'd appreciate it a lot, cuz otherwise I'm just fucked, as I don't have the money to pay for assistance.

Edit: also tried using different cable and resetting display settings.

not sure what could be the problem. maybe @Coro or @bguerville has some insight on this. I haven't messed with hen myself, but I have seen no video before when something in the flash got corrupted.

Remove the HDD and turn it on without it. Check if you will have image. If you are using both video outputs (hdmi and component/av) let just HDMI connected.

Yeah, I already saw a problem like this before. But I don't remember if I had audio. Removing the hdd let the PS3 to output video as it should, and it confirmed that it was some misconfiguration. The solution was format the hdd and install everything from scratch.
 
Tried again using alternate tv/cable to avoid having to open the playstation, but turning it on in safe mode, for some reason that was the only alternative that worked, reset ps3 to default settings and for some reason hen was here?
tried turning it on with the default monitor with the vga adapter and it doesn't show screen, but now it's showing as usual on the alternate tv..
I've installed hen plenty of times that was the first time I've had problems like that, and it was working with the monitor before, so I don't know what happened, gonna try reinstalling everything again, at least I didn't turn the console into a vegetable yet..
I'm sorry for the hassle and thank you all so much for all the quick input.

Quick tip: you don't need to fully open the PS3 to remove the HDD. There is only one screw that you need to remove. Check PS3 manual, or even some youtube videos if you need to do it in future.

I also have a VGA adapter, but it's a crap piece of garbage, and I was not able to get 1080p output using it.

That is useful, I did not know that.
What a coincidence, I too have a crap piece of shit vga adapter haha, the resolution was fine to me to play games, when it was working it is, that seems to be the problem now. Just got really scared thinking it was the hen that fucked everything up as it stopped working right after the installation
