PS3HEN PS3HEN 4.92 on CECH-25xxA

Hi everyone.
Apologies, but I can't seem to find the search forum button.

I installed a new 750 GB HDD in my CECH-25xxA PS3.
I used the HFW_4.92.1_PS3UPDAT.PUP image to set up the PS OS again.
I then went to https://ps3addict.github.io/ and tried the main HEN auto installer, which didn't start, and then I tried the alternate a few times. It initialises, but either fails or freezes while preparing.

Does anyone have some advice or another method to get multiMAN on the system?

you can try THIS autohen hosted by @aldostools. it has 4.92 support. i never updated my version (ps3addict).

the alternate installer should work also. bookmark the page and load it first thing after booting ps3.

i was literally planning to upgrade the HDD and got stopped in my tracks due to not keeping a copy of it and the http://ps3xploit.me/ site is still down, been waiting for nearly 6 hours now

Is it not worth trying an older HFW version? And then using the version I have to update it?

Nothing is working. No website to install HEN works RN. They either make the console freeze or straight up doesnt work.
I succesfully found the files to get HAN to install and enable but i can't install HEN because i dont have the PKG. Can someone provice it ?? I did found one on github but it makes my console crash and ask to reinstall the OS.... PS3Xploit has been down for more than 24Hrs now..

if you need other FW version, copy the link and replace 4.92 in the URL with whatever you need.

if HEN refuses to install, i would try another HDD. remember the new drive will be formatted by ps3! the old drive will still work (without data loss) if you put it back in later (on same FW version).

i don't know why but i have had a few ps3's that refused HEN untill i swapped HDD.

there is something about looking for media servers or being findable y them in the ps3 settings on xmb. whatever it is, turn it off.

any network activity can cause the exploit to fail. even enabling hen after installing can be blocked by network traffic. some people have to turn off network access in the ps3 settings in order to enable hen after getting it to install.

you can also put the installer pkg on a usb as HEN_UPD.pkg along with the PS3HEN.BIN for your firmware and then use the usb enabler html on my site.

you can even use HAN to install HEN!

plenty of options for a long time. most of them i have explained or discussed somewhere on this site at least once.
