PS3HEN PS3Hen and Fan Speed question

Hi guys!
I've succesfully hacked a PS3 super slim 42XXA with latest HEN, by enabling it i've managed to install some games and play them, i've also installed webMan with dynamic fan control (68*C max).
BUT , i wonder, do i have to enable HEN every time to switch to dynamic fan control?
Or it does that on boot, even though HEN is not enabled?

My superslim temps are usually 68*C Cpu, 64-67*C Rsx, this after 1 hour of Killzone 3. (Yes i did repaste and clean the console, but the paste i've used is crap).

You dont need to enable hen everytime for enable fan speed. Fan speed setting not resets when you remove webman too. I have super slim and I`m using %32.

dynamaic fan (auto) causes blackscreen freeze if speed changes while starting/stopping app or game. you should use MANUAL 35%, which is hen default. if your paste is causing high temps just raise the % untill you can get new paste.

superslims run much cooler than other ps3s anyway so they dont really need aggressive fan control. you do have to enable hen to get fan to change at all.

It gives me an error and not the usual "buy the license on psstore" , also my .rap files are all present in /hdd0/exdata.

35% is loud for me, i'll stick to SYSCON for now.

if you are not using latest hen, try it. you can also try to redownload your psn purchases...they may have gotten messed up by older hen. all legitimite psn purchases should work fine on hen now.

Ok i can confirm a couple of things that i have tested now, i have latest HEN 3.0.1!
Legit PSN games are working fine, "non-legit" require HEN to be launched, this aswell for legit games but with non-legit DLCs...
Fan speeds : I've set MANUAL 35%, is close to being loud, and gaming temps are around 60-65°C, and since here is also summer and temperatures are around 30-37°C, i think this might be good enough, at least until i buy some decent thermal paste and thermal pads for the ram.
