but there is any way to make the game works on 3.55 if i have only original pkg file ? the game is p5 and theres no fix below 4.21 anywhere:( or im not supposed to run this game at any cicrumstances and there is nothing i can do? or could i resign it to 3.55 in some way to make it works? or maybe there is any cfw for my superslim which make fix'es 4.21+ work or only hen ? thanks for reply.
 
I have installed HEN 2.2.2 from clean HFW without any issue, and so far I am using IrisMAN. I haven't seen any freeze or anything that bad.

However, I did notice one problem: when playing a game from a disc, I cannot exit the game by pressing the PS button, because once back to the XMB all icons under the Games group are stuck in loading state, and therefore I cannot choose the "quit game" option. Fortunately the icons under other groups are working fine, so that I can for instance power off from the XMB.

I can exit IrisMAN gracefully because it has its own quit option, but disc games which don't have their own quit option cannot effectively be exited gracefully, which in some case may result in loss of data.

Just a feeling...

There are many similar comments on how 2.2.1 is so much worse than the previous version which worked perfectly, and now comments on how 2.2.2 is worse that 2.2.1 for those that had no issues with it.

Could it be that the real problem is not in any version itself, but in the HEN updating process?

That's a known issue, not specific to that HEN version. As for now, while in-game, go to the top of the game category, that will load the first ones and finally the exit game will appear.

I'm a noob here, only attempted the whole HFW and HEN thing late yesterday (after some help from you guys here). I have 2.2.2 installed and I noticed the system was crashing the whole time, I couldn't launch anything while my flash drive was plugged in. I couldn't even get Multiman to run the initial setup but for now, it seems everything is working ok. Gonna load some PS2 games today and see what happens.

you can hold down the PS button to view game exit...

Remove WebMAN and be happy. I was having the same problem, I did some testing and saw that without WebMAN it works perfectly. I do not know exactly what WebMAN causes, but removing it solved the problem and it also causes incompatibility with some homebrews in my console such as MultiMan, Artemis and others that only work without the WebMAN installed.

Are u sure the Screenshots Feature is working? Removing webMAN matter? I really need webMAN just for Fan features, because my PS3 sometimes having overheating problems! And webMAN is essential in this case! I tried do screenshot in YouTube and it worked but in game didn't worked, my game is Blur™(BLES00759), I installed HEN purposely because of Screenshot Feature! This is one of reasons I installed HEN
 
HEN 2.2.2 freezing/black screen on all games and homebrew... sometimes works but mostly requires a hard restart to get a display again. I'm gonna revert back for the time being.
 
Help I can't use hen I tried enabling it and install multiman but when i open it says installation lf required data failed so i tried to reinstall the ofw and then install the hfw twice but i get an error after 50% of the update 8002F2C5.What do i do?

I can say that in my console the problem was the WebMAN, I do not know if it will work for everyone, but it's worth trying. I have the same warming problem and use the WebMAN to solve this.I wish there was a way to control the fan without the WebMAN because it causes a lot of conflicts on my console and prevents me from using the screen capture feature. If possible, take the test and tell us if it works for you.

1- Can't instal the latest HEN on local with my Flashair, the only way is to install the package file after you install Latest_HEN_Installer_2.2.2_signed-484C, why not include the "PS3HEN.p3t" or "PS3HEN.bin" in on the html ?
2- Possible to add the mount flash into "Hybride Firmware Tools" to prevent futur install for HEN if we have on offline methode ?

@ShaolinAssassin : can u update the file "package_link.xml" with the last "mount dev flash" offline to instal the last HEN ?
